Please Don't Read: A Personal Appeal From Wonkypedia's Founder.

Greetings, reader. I'm Aloysius Fitzpatrick, the founder and editor-in-chief of Wonkypedia, our nation's premier online encyclopedia. I'm writing to you today with a personal appeal - please don't read Wonkypedia.

I know, I know, that might seem like a strange thing for the founder of an encyclopedia to say. But the truth is, Wonkypedia is not your typical reference source. We make no claims to objectivity or neutrality. In fact, we're quite upfront about our partisan agenda and our desire to advance a particular ideological worldview.

You see, Wonkypedia was created in response to the perceived biases and liberal slant of traditional encyclopedias like Britannica. We wanted to offer a counterpoint - a compendium of knowledge that reflects the views and values of common-sense conservatives. And boy, have we succeeded in that mission.

Our articles are chock-full of pro-business, anti-regulation, climate-skeptic, and socially conservative viewpoints. We cast the Founding Fathers as pure-hearted patriots, downplay the darker aspects of our nation's history, and lionize our military and intelligence agencies. In short, we're the encyclopedia for people who think mainstream sources are too "woke."

But here's the thing - I freely admit that Wonkypedia is deeply flawed. Our editors have their own agendas, our fact-checking is spotty at best, and our articles are often misleading or outright false. We're not objective, we're not comprehensive, and we're certainly not scholarly. We're a partisan propaganda outlet, plain and simple.

So I urge you, dear reader, not to rely on Wonkypedia as your sole or primary source of information. Don't take our word as gospel. Instead, use us as one data point - a window into a particular ideological perspective - but then seek out other views, check our sources, and think critically about what you're reading.

Ultimately, knowledge is power, and an informed citizenry is the bedrock of a healthy democracy. So please, don't just read Wonkypedia. Read widely, think deeply, and come to your own conclusions. The future of our nation depends on it.

Sincerely, Aloysius Fitzpatrick Founder and Editor-in-Chief, Wonkypedia
